    Off the highway and onto the slopes

    The vacation resort of Flachau is about 70 kilometers south of the provincial capital city of Salzburg, directly on the Tauern Autobahn (A10 - Exit 66) in Pongau. At the center of the Austrian Alps, Flachau can be reached very easily – coming from the north, from Germany or Holland, via Munich and Salzburg; coming from Italy in the south, via Villach and Spittal.

    Hikers' mountain Griessenkar & Flori's Adventure Path

    A hiking adventure begins at each of the mountain stations of the summer lifts. You can choose from a wide range of different hiking tours, from the half-hour summit walk to the more challenging circular path hike. Families will be at the right place on Flori's Adventure Path at the top station of Starjet 1. Curious and clever children can try to solve tricky puzzles along the way. Success will be rewarded with a small gift at the tourism association office.
