    Wagrainis Grafenberg & KUHbidu Adventure Trail

    Wagrainis Grafenberg and the KUHbidu Adventure Trail on the Grafenberg in Wagrain are the perfect excursion destination for the entire family and is located in the Salzburg region’s Pongau district. Getting from Wagrain up the mountain is easy on the Grafenbergbahn - a comfortable 6-seat gondola with plenty of extra space to bring a baby stroller along. Our staff will, of course, be happy to help you load the stroller into the gondola cabin. Once you have reached the mountain station at 1,700 meters above sea level, you will be right at the entrance of the Wagrainis Grafenberg nature & mountain adventure world, as well as at the beginnig of the KUHbidu Adventure Trail. And best of all, entry to both adventure worlds is already included with your valid gondola lift ticket.

    What awaits you at Wagrainis Grafenberg

    Located right next to the Grafenbergbahn gondola mountain station in Wagrain, the Wagrainis Grafenberg Mountain and Nature Adventure World invites you to come play and discover. Take the raft across the Grafenbergsee lake or the suspension bridge to the Bienenweg trail, then continue down the Hachau slide into the low rope garden. Skill and coordination are required on a variety of courses that will challenge your rope swinging and balancing skills. And just because they are low to the ground in no way means that they are going to be easy! Then, it will be off to the swing forest, where the giant swing awaits the especially daring kids. Next stop – the climbing arena. Here routes with different difficulty levels - identified by the color of the hand grips - can be climbed on the boulder wall. Finally, stroll along the “Path of Fascination” which takes you past the water games park and back to the children’s mountain pasture farm. An absolutely eventful day on a family vacation.

    KUHbidu Adventure Trail

    The KUHbidu Adventure Trail attracts all young explorers and naturalists to Wagranis Grafenberg. Answers to questions such as: What does a cow eat? Where does the milk come from and how is cheese made from it? Everyone who manages to solve all the puzzles can pick up a small surprise gift at the gondola valley station before they depart.

    Tip: You will receive your KUHbidu puzzle pass next to the mountain station of the Grafenbergbahn. There you will also find the first puzzle station.

    New Adventure App at the Grafenberg

    Discover the Grafenberg experience world with the new Adventure App and embark on an interactive exploration with Ranger Tom, his search dog Rocky and Marie, the Grafenberg farmer‘s niece. Help the team solve the mystery of an ancient secret recipe. By the way, there is an adventure map! Where do you find it? Well, you‘ll find out at the start of your interactive adventure tour in the app. Suitable for children from approx. 8 years.

    Please note: Unfortunately, the Adventure App is currently only available in German!

    How you get to Wagrainis Grafenberg

    By car head first to Wagrain, coming from either Flachau or St. Johann. Just a short drive south of Wagrain in the direction towards Kleinarl you will see the large parking lot of the Grafenbergbahn on your right side.
